Executive Position Descriptions

President
Supervises the overall activities and decisions for the organization. Liaises with website provider to develop internet strategies and maintain a current website throughout the year.

Past President

Position assumed by President of the preceding year. Assists and advises as needed.

Vice-President

Assumes the duties of the President in her absence, administers the Scholarship Program and accepts special projects and duties as required.

Secretary

Chief recording and corresponding officer of the organization.

Treasurer

Handles all funds for GWIN, keeps accurate financial records including Accounts Payable and Receivables.

Membership Coordinator

Supports all details regarding membership, new and existing, and support the administrative functions at each dinner meeting.

Hospitality Coordinator

The exclusive contact for GWIN regarding all details which involve catering and facility booking. Also organizes GWIN callers.

Communications Coordinator

Responsible for gathering information on events put on by GWIN members or events in the community that may be of interest to GWIN members, seeking out news items about GWIN members and their companies, updating content on the GWIN Web site, maintaining Web site documentation and being the point of contact for the company hosting the GWIN Web site.

Current Program Coordinator

Plans and implements all programs for members’ meetings.  Responsible for attending to the monthly speaker’s needs and coordinating the monthly business bio presentations and member promotional tables.

Public Relations Coordinator

Establishes and maintains media contacts. Develops public relations strategy and consistently promotes the public profile of GWIN.

Special Events Coordinator

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of all special events including the annual fundraiser.

Newsletter Editor

Gathers photographs and relevant information of interest from executive, speakers and members to create and publish monthly newsletter sent to subscribers via email through MailChimp.
