GWIN Web Site Advertising

As a GWIN member in good standing, you are eligible to advertise your organization on this Web site. Your text ad will consist of one live-link heading that can be linked to either your own Web site, or your member information page on the GWIN site. As well as the heading (25 characters or less), you can also place up to 100 characters of body text  in the ad space area. Please see any of the main pages for examples of text ads and how they work. This is a terrific opportunity that is only open to the members of GWIN, so be sure to take advantage of this advertising opportunity, particularly since the cost is so low and the value so high.

You have two options to choose from when advertising on this site:

Option 1: Highest-Volume Ad spaces

The ad spaces on the Home, Members and Events pages receive the highest volume or number of hits. There are a maximum of nine (9) spaces available for a text advertisement (three on each of the main pages). Your ad will get a lot of attention as it rotates position randomly among these three high traffic pages.

• Cost is $60 per quarter (one 3-month segment)
• Pre-payment is required

Option 2: High/Medium-Volume Ad spaces

The ad spaces on the About GWIN, Join GWIN, Resources and Scholarship pages receive a large number of hits, but are not visited as frequently as the Highest-Volume Ad spaces on the pages mentioned above. There are a maximum of 12 spaces (3 on each of these 4 landing pages). Your ad will rotate position randomly among these four pages only.

• Cost is $30 per quarter (one 3-month segment)
• Pre-payment is required.

Both options are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Should all spaces be filled, you can join our waiting list. Your ad will run for three (3) consecutive months, and can be renewed if there are no members on the waiting list at the time that you would like to renew. If there are members on the waiting list, they will receive priority, and your organization’s name will be added in order to the list.

Cheques are payable to Guelph Women In Networking and are due upon receipt.

GWIN Newsletter Advertising

Along with Internet exposure, GWIN offers its members the opportunity to advertise within our monthly newsletter, which is distributed to the entire membership and is also used in various public relation programs. Although the organization’s guidelines do not permit members to promote their business in the newsletter outside of purchased advertising space, GWIN members may write articles for publishing in the newsletter on topics of interest to the general membership for no charge. These articles must be submitted to the Newsletter Editor by each dinner meeting to appear in the next month’s issue. GWIN reserves the right to edit and decline articles that do not fall within the established guidelines of the organization.

Pricing:

• Business card Ad – 3.5″ x 2.5″ – $15.00
• Quarter Page Ad (Vertical or Horizontal)– 3.5″ x 4.75″ or 7.5″ x 2.5″ – $20.00
• 1/3 Page Ad (Vertical or Horizontal – 7.5” x 3.5” or 2.5” x 10” – $26.00
• Half Page Ad (Vertical or Horizontal) – 3.6″ x 10″ or 7.5″ x 4.75″ – $35.00
• Three-Quarter Page Ad – 7.5″ x 7″ – $45.00
• Full Page Ad – 7.5″ x 10″ – $60.00

Discounts:

• Commit and Advertise 3 months in a row – 10%
• Commit and Advertise 6 months in a row – 12%
• Commit and Advertise 11 months – 15%

The above prices are for the placement of the ad, if Camera-ready art is provided (picture format), together with payment in full.  Ads can be designed for you for an additional fee.  All ads must be submitted by the 15th of the month.

Non-Member Advertising rates are on request.

Tradeshow Participation

GWIN is very active in area tradeshows to promote itself and its members. Members are expected to participate by volunteering for at least one 1 to 2 hour shift at the GWIN display/booth. Professional conduct and representation of GWIN is expected at all times. While the primary focus of the tradeshow participation is to promote GWIN memberships, members also find endless networking opportunities to market their own services or products. Along with the networking opportunities available while volunteering, members are permitted to place their business cards and/or brochures at the display table for distribution.

Pricing:

• Business Cards: Maximum of 25  per show. No Charge.
• Brochures: Maximum  of 25 per show.  Payment of $10.00 must be received when brochures are received to ensure they are displayed.
